Château Fougeailles

Lalande de Pomerol

All the tannic seduction of a Pomerol wine, combined with the generous fruit of merlot. These wines offer a good balance of ripe red fruits and intense, expressive tannins. These wines can be enjoyed young, although the full expression of the terroir emerges after ageing for a few years (5 to 7 years).

Located on the first terrace after the Barbanne, the stream that separates the Lalande de Pomerol appellation from the the Pomerol appellation, Château Fougeailles stands on a strip of land that has long been recognised as one of the appellation's great terroirs.
